Since the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, Doulos has been working diligently alongside our strategic partners to rescue both believers and non-believers from persecution and attacks. In our first phase, which we called “Aid to Afghanistan”, we were able to move over 52,000 people out of the country and into safety! Our methodology included sharing the Gospel, providing humanitarian supplies and temporary housing, and assistance with relocation efforts.
More than 2,900 people accepted Christ as their Savior during phase one!
We are now launching phase two. We need to rescue another 8,500+ people. More than 600 families are in life-threatening and dire circumstances, and we want to get them to safety. The majority represent single-mother families whose husbands and fathers have been killed, many as a result of Christian persecution. In the last 18 months alone, more than 100 Christians have died for their faith.
