Cuba Mission Trip

Thank you for praying for our team that visited Cuba in November in partnership with World Link Ministries.  The team worked with local church planters to continue spreading the gospel there, where they saw 350 professions of faith and 53 baptisms.  Praise the Lord for the way He is continuing to work across the island.

Four Generations in Cameroon

The video in the link below shows four spiritual generations of believers in Cameroon.  The man on the far left started this particular chain of sharing the gospel.  The man on the far right, Constance, the speaker in the video, had planned to commit suicide on the day that the third-generation believer, Claude, told Constance about Jesus.  Now Constance already is discipling a fifth generation believer.  Pray for each of these brothers and for more and more generations to join them and us.

Persecution

We have reports of three believers having been beaten recently in a Buddhist-dominated area.  We have been asked not to post pictures of the one new brother who was beaten severely after returning to his home village to share his testimony about Christ.   Pray for these Christ-followers and their families, villages and persecutors.  “But rejoice to the extent that you share in Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”  1 Peter 4:13.

Turning the World Upside Down in the Village of Rakeshpanka, India

Our Sister Gillian reports that the Lord impressed on our Brother Prasant to take the gospel to the small farming village of Rakeshpanka and its 300 or so people.  For generations, the people there have worshiped all sorts of gods and annually have offered animal sacrifices to appease them.   As a result of Prasant’s obedience, the Lord is transforming many lives there.  Now, 15 new believers in Rakeshpanka committed to taking the gospel to the entire village and to surrounding areas.  Praise the Lord!  “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelled in the land of the shadow of death, a light has shined.”  Isaiah 9:2.

Immanuel, God with Us

During this joyful season, let’s remember to thank God for His first and greatest Christmas gift to the entire world.
