The Lord moves in mighty ways, and we were honored to see this firsthand during the first month of our Global Refugee Outreach initiative!
The month of August was a dollar-for-dollar matching campaign thanks to an anonymous donor, who pledged up to $25,000 in matching donations. Our hope was to act responsibly and wisely as we trusted the Lord for the funds for GRO, and we are honored to report that He has brought in even more than we expected!
Matching Campaign: August Numbers
Our total donations for the month of August came to an astounding $40,692. With $25,000 of that matched by our generous donor, our grand total for August is $65,692!
This is an encouraging step toward raising the full amount of $180,000 for the first year of Global Refugee Outreach. Thanks to the mercy of God and the generosity of our supporters, we are able to begin training believers in refugee camps so that they can return to their home countries and start their own ministry!
