Last year, Doulos Partners was blessed with an incredible donor who promised to match all donations, dollar-for-dollar, through the end of December. Thanks to God’s faithfulness and your support, that campaign went above and beyond our expectations for a total of $57,511!
This year, we are honored to receive the same blessing — and we look forward to seeing what God will do with #MakeItMatch2017! The same donor came forward to say that the Lord was calling him to give 50% more than last year. In following that call, he is offering a $30,000 match dollar for dollar for every new donation that is given by December 31, 2018! He is challenging everyone who gave last year to give 50% more than they did last year to increase the amount of support that is advancing the gospel around the world. How We Use Donations
One thing we want all of our supporters to know is that all of the donations we receive, for this campaign and otherwise, go directly to the field. None of the donations we receive go to administrative costs; those are covered out-of-pocket by our board of directors.
Here is some additional information:
- We are a 501 (c)(3) organization, which means that your donations are 100% tax deductible.
- When you donate to Doulos, you can rest assured that your donation goes to the churches and pastors we support — not to administrative costs.
- Doulos Partners is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability — the premiere financial accountability company for 501 (c)(3) Non Profit organizations. The ECFA monitors the financial practices of leading Christian ministries, supervises their fundraising practices, and keeps tabs on board governance.
How Can You Donate to Make It Match 2017?
There are a couple of easy ways to donate to our campaign:
- You can easily donate to our organization through PayPal. Either give out of your existing PayPal balance, or use a card to send your gift.
- Mail a check to our office at 700 Montgomery Hwy, Suite 156, Birmingham, Alabama 35216. Any donations postmarked by December 31, 2017, will be counted among the donations to the matching campaign.
Any new or increased gift given to the Global Refugee Outreach initiative or to our annual giving will be matched dollar for dollar up to $30,000!
