Salvation for a Family in Mauritius
Praise the Lord for the recent decisions by the members of an entire family in Mauritius to obey the Lord and to follow Him after feeling oppressed by evil spirits for many years. While neighbors watched, the family threw away their idols and demolished their shrine and places for animal sacrifices. Immediately afterwards, the family members were baptized. Pray for these new believers and for them to tell their relatives, neighbors, and coworkers how much the Lord has done for them and how He has had mercy on them. Mark 5: 19-20.
Planning for Outreach Across Oceania
Our brother Dave Marrett has asked for prayer as his team develops plans for sharing the gospel and planting churches among the inhabitants of the thousands of islands that make up Oceania, including Micronesia and Melanesia. Ephesians 6: 18-20.
Three Teenagers in Slovenia
We have been asked to pray for three 13-year-old boys in Slovenia. Lenart has expressed a desire to know Christ. Goran and Daniel are addicted to drugs but want to read the Bible. In addition, one of our leaders, Peter Dunn, reports that many of our Slovenian brothers and sisters are enduring considerable spiritual warfare, low self-esteem, and poor physical health. Pray for these three teenagers and for the light and peace of the gospel to overcome the power of darkness confronting many believers in Slovenia. Revelation 3: 8.
Encouraging New Believers and Taking the Gospel to an Unreached People Group in South Sudan
Please pray for the new believers suffering persecution in South Sudan. Pray for their unity, comfort, and joy in Christ. Matthew 5: 11-12. Pray also for the leaders there who are attempting to take the gospel to an unreached people group despite logistical difficulties exacerbated by bad weather. 2 Corinthians 11: 26-30.
Thank You for Supporting Our Teams on Recent Mission Trips
Thank you very much for your prayers and support for our teams in the field during October. The Lord blessed the work both among our Cuban brothers and sisters and among the Middle Eastern refugees. We look forward to sharing details about both of these trips in the days to come. Philippians 4: 10-20.
