There are over 70 million deaf people in the world, and less than 2% of them know and follow Jesus. This makes the deaf community the largest unreached people group on the planet.

It's easy not to realize that our ability to read is dependent on our ability to hear. Therefore, 90% of the deaf cannot read and can only communicate through their native sign language. Almost 400 different sign languages exist around the world, with 80% of them having no scripture translated into their heart language.

Doulos Partners is committed to sharing the Gospel with the deaf, providing discipleship, and planting churches that minister to this community. They need the Word in their hands so they can grow in their faith. Translating the Bible for the deaf community is accomplished by means of video.
