Marcus Robinson
Marcus Robinson is a professional experienced in sales strategies and products for the healthcare industry. He is the National Vice President of Sales for UnitedHealthcare’s ACA or individual exchange business. Marcus leverages his expertise in distribution, service experience, and strategy for the national growth of the individual exchange business segment for UnitedHealthcare.
Marcus joined UnitedHealthcare in 2007 with his B.S. in Marketing and Information Management from the University of Tennessee. His career experience includes VP of Small Business Sales and Account Management for Georgia/Alabama, VP of Small Business Sales South Atlantic, and VP of Sales and Account Management at Harken Health (a UHC startup venture). During his tenure at Harken, he oversaw sales operations, formalized distribution strategies, recruited and hired the sales and account management staff, and cultivated relationships with distribution partners while partnering with an innovative primary care delivery provider in several markets.
Growing up, Marcus’s family moved around throughout the Midwest, and he finished high school in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He and his wife have their hands full with their three children, but they do make time to enjoy an active lifestyle by participating in CrossFit, Peloton, and other outdoor activities. Marcus leads a Sunday School class at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and is a board member of Crossroads Career, a Christ-centered nonprofit helping people who are unemployed, unfulfilled, or underemployed to hear God’s calling on their lives and discover His purpose for their careers. Marcus is also a member of UnitedHealthcare's Diversity and Inclusion executive council and is a UnitedHealthcare culture facilitator.
