A Mobile native, Fillers graduated from the University of Alabama, and completed his MBA through Auburn University’s Executive MBA program. Fillers began his banking career in 2001 in Mobile and worked in several leadership roles since then including former South Alabama CEO of BBVA Compass.

Active in his community, Fillers serves as Chairman of the Child Advocacy Center’s Cuisine for Kids Committee, the Advisory Board for Mitchell College of Business, and several committees with the Mobile Chamber. Fillers has served in several leadership roles with the United Way of Southwest Alabama, including Board Chair, as well as Chairman with American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Additional leadership roles include the University of South Alabama’s Upward and Onward campaign, Board of Directors for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mobile Area Council Boy Scouts of America Executive Board, and the Steering Committee for Mobile United.

Fillers is active as one of Coastal Alabama Partnership’s Coastal 150 members, a former graduate of Mobile United’s Leadership Mobile program, named one of Mobile Bay Magazine’s “40 under 40”, and a former iHeart Radio “CEO You Should Know.”

He and his wife, Erin, have three children, David, William, and James.  The Fillers’ are active members of Springhill Baptist Church and Outback America.
