The men and women on the board of directors and junior board at Doulos faithfully answer the call the Lord has put on their hearts to go above and beyond in His service in missions. These wonderful men and women act as our accountability partners and advisors. Together they help us live out our common goal in carrying out the Great Commission given by Jesus.
All of our members are actively involved with each partner where we support church planting efforts across the globe and are fully invested in the work God is doing for His Kingdom. Take a minute to meet our newest member, our new Director of Development for the Southwest Region, Jonathan Kendrick!
Meet Jonathan
Jonathan Kendrick grew up in Alabaster, AL, along with his wife, Sarah. He graduated from Faulkner University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His business career has included time spent in sales, and most recently, he’s worked in outside sales TSA, an IT company in Birmingham, AL.
Jonathan and Sarah are members of Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster, AL. It was at Westwood where he first heard David Johnson preach. Eventually, he would be in the same discipleship group with David, who exposed him to Doulos Partners and the work we do across the globe.
The more Jonathan heard about Doulos, the more he wanted to be a part of it. Jonathan discovered a passion for the work God was doing through Doulos by hearing stories from our partners from David, and wanted to help get the Gospel to unreached people groups around the world.
Meeting David was a culmination of years of work the Lord was doing in Jonathan and Sarah’s heart: “It is amazing to see how He orchestrated every detail which brought us to where we are today. He has taught us that our joy will be found in living for Jesus. He has given us a heart for the nations.”
Jonathan looks forward to building relationships and having the privilege of sharing what God is doing through Doulos Partners to make the name of Jesus known among the unreached. Jonathan and Sarah are invigorated in sharing the Gospel with the world and reaching people groups of all kinds. Their courage and faith are an inspiration to us all!

A Heart for the Unreached
At Doulos Partners, each one of our members understands the gravity of the Lord’s call in the Great Commission. They, like Jonathan, have chosen to answer the call and spread the Good News beyond their immediate communities.
