Helping Afghan Believers and Church Planters
Please pray for the safety of believers and church planters in Afghanistan. Local leaders there are asking that we pray for open opportunities for them to share and advance the gospel. Pray also for the protection, boldness, and wisdom of all the believers there. Pray as well that, even among the Taliban, many Sauls will become Apostle Pauls after being confronted with the truth and gospel of our Lord.
In addition, we have an opportunity to financially partner with the work on the ground in Afghanistan. Through our partnership network of about 2,000 churches across the country, our leaders are helping with food, clothing, and relocation services for hundreds of thousands of their neighbors and friends now trying to find a way to survive or escape Taliban rule. We have opened a specific fund allowing you to financially partner with these leaders as they provide resources to those who need help the most. As always, 100% of your donations to this fund will go straight to the field to help local leaders working to meet the physical needs of the people, while also pointing them to Jesus. Acts 8: 1–4.

Repentance and Baptisms in Nepal…
One of our teams recently visited a remote area of Nepal, looking for “persons of peace.” They found three people open to spiritual conversations. After hearing the gospel, all three repented of their sins and declared their faith in Christ. Each of them also was baptized. Nearby is a photo of one of the baptisms. Matthew 10: 11–20.
…And in Bangladesh
Another team recently delivered food to the poor in Bangladesh. While in that village, the believers prayed for the sick and shared the gospel. As a result, 12 people came to faith in Christ. All have gotten baptized and two new groups of believers have started meeting in this village. Galatians 2: 9–10.
Persecution in Mauritania
Mauritanian believers are facing increased persecution. Our brother, Habil, began training believers there recently, and the new Christ-followers’ identities are known to those violently opposed to the gospel. Due to security concerns, more details are not being released. Revelation 2: 8–11.

New Generations’ Intercessory Example and Scriptural Prayers
Here are a few more of the 10 key scriptural points and instructions—followed by one of our partnership prayer teams of more than 10,000 intercessors in West Africa.
- Pray for persons of peace to be discovered in communities where the gospel is not yet known. “When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.” Luke 10: 5–7.
- Pray for every stronghold and lie of the enemy to be broken. “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10: 3–5.
- Pray for fresh anointing and boldness for the disciple-makers and for our own understanding of the tasks assigned to each of us. “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Luke 4: 18.
