Alana Sharp grew up in the Birmingham Metropolitan area. She was raised by amazing, godly parents and gave her life to Jesus at a young age. In 2009, she and her family began attending Church of the Highlands. During her senior year of high school, God called her to ministry and led her to attend Highlands College after graduating from Springville High School.

She received ministry training and studied Worship Leadership in Highlands College. After graduating, Alana interned at Church of the Highlands with the Worship Team and later served on staff helping coordinate the Worship Leadership Practicum within Highlands College and in an administrative capacity for the Worship Team. After that, Alana served on staff with the Creative Team in the Communications and Marketing department for five years. She had the opportunity to serve in several different roles on the team including Social Media Director and Senior Project Manager.

Alana met her husband, Andrew, at Highlands, and they got married in 2020. They are passionate about living their lives for God’s Kingdom and love that they have been able to serve in ministry together throughout their whole relationship. Alana and Andrew love to play with their dog, travel, spend time outdoors, lead small groups, play video games together, and spend time with family and friends!

Alana is very expectant about what God is doing through Doulos Partners and is honored to be on the team. She is passionate about seeing Jesus’ love reach the ends of the Earth!
