Birmingham Prayer Gathering on First Tuesdays, Starting April 5
For those in the Birmingham area on April 5, please join us at 7:00—7:30 A.M. at our office to pray for our sisters and brothers working in the field and for new and future believers and church plants around the world. We will meet at 700 Montgomery Highway (U.S. 31), Suite 100, at the Vestavia Hills City Center. Ephesians 6: 18.
Pray for Ukrainians and Russians
One of our partners is reporting that believers in Ukraine are focusing on praying and serving others during the war there. Please pray for all believers in Ukraine and Russia to help and to serve their neighbors during this crisis. Pray also for all the political leaders involved, that they would make decisions and enact policies that would help believers to “lead a peaceful and quite life, godly and dignified in every way.” 1 Timothy 2: 1—4.
Prayer Requests for Missionaries to the Deaf
- Our partner taking the Gospel to the deaf around the world has asked for prayer for some specific individuals:
- Our brother Ofori as he leads the ministry in Ghana through some upcoming challenges.
- For our sister Camille, who recently lost her mother.
- For our sister Julia serving in Romania.
- For our sister Kate, who is a new missionary.
- For an unnamed family of believers in an undisclosed location where Christians are suffering persecution.
Salvation of a Wealthy Tanzanian
A Doulos team just returned from Tanzania in our first missions trip since before the pandemic. Read about the salvation story of a wealthy, unscrupulous Tanzanian, another testimony that, “with God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19: 23—26.
Fasting and Prayer Resource
One of our partners has multiple prayer resources available for all of us. For those who might be interested in fasting during Lent, the two-page guide can be a helpful resource. Matthew 6: 16—18.
