Doulos Partners Highlight Series: Biglife
At Doulos Partners, our mission is clear: We exist to resource and empower indigenous leaders to spread the Gospel through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. By working through strategic partnerships, we ensure that the message of Christ reaches even the most remote and restricted regions.
One of our most valued partnerships is with Biglife /, an organization dedicated to equipping and training disciples to go where the need is greatest. Together, we have seen God move in powerful ways, transforming lives and bringing hope to those who had never before encountered the truth of the Gospel. The following story is just one example of how God is working through our partnership with Biglife Global in India.
Govind – India
“Govind (pictured far right with his wife and son) was deeply entrenched in idol worship along with his family. However, their lives took a devastating turn when their 3-year-old son passed away suddenly, leaving the family in unbearable grief. To make matters worse, their elder son developed a very severe case of jaundice and was on the brink of death. Despite trying various forms of magic and rituals, the family saw no improvement.
It was at this point that Brother Jugal (pictured on left) visited their neighboring village to show the Jesus film. A believer from the village requested Jugal to pray for Govind's family. Through prayer and sharing the Word of God, Jugal introduced the family to the transformative power of Jesus Christ. After watching the Jesus Film, the family put their faith in Jesus, renounced idolatry, and began worshipping the one true God.
The Lord also miraculously healed their ailing son, who has fully recovered. He is soon to be baptized, marking a new chapter in his spiritual journey. This remarkable testimony brings glory to the name of the Lord, demonstrating His power to transform lives and bring hope to those who need it most.”
This is why we do what we do. Stories like Govind’s remind us of the urgency of our mission and the power of the Gospel to bring healing and redemption. Through God’s provision and the generosity of our supporters, we can continue to equip indigenous leaders, plant churches, and share the hope of Christ in places where it is desperately needed.
