Evangelists to the Deaf
DOOR International, our partner with many deaf missionaries taking the gospel to the deaf everywhere, has shared the following prayer requests involving reaching the deaf through gospel-themed movies and plays. Specifically they have asked for prayer for:
- Impactful stage performances of C.S. Lewis’ “Chronicles of Narnia” series novel, “The Horse and His Boy,” at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Some of the dramatizations will include American Sign Language performances. Pray for all the deaf and the hearing unbelievers who will see the performances and, if you are in Washington D.C. during February, consider going yourself.
- The planning and filming of the “Jesus Movie” this summer by Deaf Missions. One important goal is for up to 70 million deaf people worldwide to see the movie. You can view the pilot at this link: https://www.deafmissions.com/uncondemned/. 1 Corinthians 9: 19—23.
